## Step by Step

This custom shingled cupola was installed on a garage attached to a cape-style house. The build ran in five stages.

1. The saddle, which gets installed and flashed to the roof.
2. The base is installed, complete with a generous 8″ access hole with PVC plug for ease of wiring and installation.
3. The window unit, complete with wiring for a hanging lantern, is installed next.
4. The pre-roofed top goes on, shingled to match the house. Copper was also an option, but the homeowner preferred this look.
5. The cupola is crated with care, securely packaged and shipped to the job site.
